Man Utd 0-1 Arsenal: The sign of champions or reasons to worry for Gunners?
Arsenal players celebrated in front of their fans after a full -time whistle, and Arteta was asked whether they could get positive as they won the game by BBC Sport at a press conference.
“This absolutely gives you acceleration and confidence. Two very important things,” Arteta said.
“We can still find a way to come and win the game. The team should find it in different contexts for 10 months during the season to do so.
“Of course we have to develop many things and this will be very soon, but it is a great way to do it in a very positive conclusion.”
Speaking at BBC Radio 5 Live, former Crystal Palace and striker Clinton Morrison, the striker of the Republic of Ireland, thinks that Arsenal’s qualities may be a sign of a success season.
He said: “When you don’t play well and you still get three points, the sign of the champions.
“The difference was the goalkeepers. David Raya made an extraordinary and Altay Bayindir made a big mistake.
“Viktor Gyookeres is fed with scrap. It is hard for him. There is more than that.”
Former Manchester United player and Sky Pundit Gary Neville, “Arsenal should change” because they played in the first half, he said.
“The front three, especially large players, did not play in a good enough place in this game.”
“Arsenal really dug and showed a lot of flexibility. Arsenal was never the best way, but it is great to come here to the old Trafford or Manchester City and get three points.”
