First Danger Warning Issued As Godavari Swells In Bhadrachalam

BHADRACHALAM: The water level of the Godavari River is gradually increasing due to heavy rains in the upper basin areas. Authorities, the water level on Friday at 7 am after 42.6 feet touched the first danger warning.

Authorities, water is expected to increase further, flood waters already reached Kalyanakatta in Bhadrachalam, he said. Swimmers and boats were deployed to restrict the public’s access and to prevent anyone from entering the river.
