Fire rips through London nursery as over 60 firefighters tackle blaze | News

A fire broke out at a nursery in London on Saturday night (January 31), and dozens of firefighters rushed to the scene to fight the blaze.
Video footage shows huge flames and billows of dark smoke rising from the roof of Rushey Green Nursery in Lewisham, Catford.
London Fire Brigade said it sent eight fire trucks and around 60 firefighters to the scene after receiving the first call of the fire at 6.40pm. The fire was brought under control after about 3 hours.
Residents were advised to keep their windows and doors closed, while roads were also closed as people were told to stay away from the area.
While there were no injuries in the fire, the investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
