Tamil Nadu government to give 4% reservation in promotion to its staff with benchmark disabilities

The Tamil Nadu government will provide 4% booking for the promotion of comparison disabled employees. He has published instructions on this subject.

However, one of the instructions allows the government to exempt any organization from the provisions of the 34th part of the Disabled Rights Rights Law.

According to the instructions, the promotional reservation for comparison disabled people is for tasks determined by the government that only one task is more than five. This identity will only be done for tasks that carry the level of payment in every government organization ”.

Reservation is also valid for recruitment and recruitment by transfer (lower wage scale higher wage scale). 1% is divided for blindness and low vision, while 1% is deaf and reserved for the difficulty of hearing. 1 % is reserved for locomotor disability, including cerebral palsy, leprosy cure, dwarf, acid attack victims and muscle dystrophy. Another 1% is allocated for multiple obstacles between people under (B) (B), including (A) to (B) deaf blindness. However, in accordance with one of the provisions, the government will decide to exempt some organizations from reservation.

Considering the type of business carried out in any organization, the government consulted the State Commissioner for the Disabled State Commissioner and said, “Any government can exempt any government organization from the reservation provisions”.

Part 34 of the Law provides 4% booking for disabled people at the appointment; However, when it comes to the promotion, one of the provisions says, “reservation in promotion will comply with the instructions given by the appropriate government from time to time,” he says.

In December 2022, the government created a sub -committee to provide a 4% reservation in promotion to people with comparison. The same month created a high -level committee on this issue. In August 2024, the Secretary of the Human Resources Management Department led the senior committee discussing the reports of the sub -committee. Finally, the senior committee proposed to provide a 4% booking for promotion to people with comparison disabled people.

Based on the suggestions of the senior committee, the government gave orders to comparison disabled people to provide 4% booking for promotions. The instructions published on June 21 this year came into force as of that date.
