Communist Party of India General Secretary M. Veerapandian on Friday said that the territory of Tamil Nadu will teach a befitting lesson to those who want to spread hatred in the 2026 Assembly elections. Mr. Veerapandian told reporters that the BJP government at the Center was undermining the values ​​of parliamentary democracy by centralizing power and waging war on States’ rights. He said DMK’s alliance partners will stand firmly with Prime Minister MK Stalin in defending the rights of the State. “Tamil Nadu stands as an example of communal harmony. Hindus, who are the majority in the state, will stand guard to protect the rights of minorities. RSS-BJP ideologues continue to spread hatred to disrupt this harmonious relationship,” he alleged and added: “The people of Tamil Nadu will defeat them.” According to him, Tamil Nadu has always been a country of unity and does not accept divisive narratives. He added that the people of Tamil Nadu will teach a lesson to the BJP and those who joined hands with it in the 2026 Assembly elections.
