Tamil New Year Celebrated At Puttaparthi

-Anantapur: Tamil New Year was celebrated at Prasanthi Nilayam in Satya Sai district with the participation of large number of devotees from TN.

The Carnatic vocal concert of JB Keerthana Bharadwaj and his team enthralled the audience at the Sai Kulwanth Hall on Tuesday evening.

Keerthana, an accomplished All India Radio Class A artiste, has presented a carefully curated repertoire. He began his recital with a traditional Thevaram and expressed divine grace through timeless Tamil hymns that beautifully blend poetry and devotion.

The concert then evolved into a soulful rendition of Brochevarevaru’s evergreen composition, followed by a deeply evocative rendition of Saint Thyagaraja’s kriti Mokshamu Galada. Adding a touch of folk flair, the Carnatic vocalist sang Papanasam Sivan’s Kumaran Thazh, a composition with vibrant cultural overtones. This was followed by the joyful Sai bhajan Anandamaya Bhagawan, which filled the hall with devotion and festivity.

Exuding an intensity of serenity and devotion, Keerthana concluded her offering with a moving rendition of venerable Thirupugazh, bringing the evening to a spiritually uplifting and melodious end.

Satya Sai Center Trustee RJ Ratnakar congratulated the team.
