Tata Sons board meeting: Chairman N Chandrasekaran not in focus today; what is?
Tata Sons board will meet on June 12 to approve annual accounts and dividends for FY 2025-26. Tata Sons is the holding company of the Tata Groups.
However, key issues that have sparked controversy, including the extension of Chairman N Chandrasekaran’s tenure and the potential listing of Tata Sons, are not on the agenda today. Indian Express reported by quoting sources.
Sources also told the newspaper that there was little chance of any decision from Tata Trusts regarding the appointment of new director nominees to the Tata Sons board.
The matter was postponed as the board of directors of Sir Ratan Tata Trust (SRTT) failed to meet and take a decision following an order issued by the Charity Commissioner of Maharashtra.
