Taylor Swift ‘almost nailed on’ to headline Glastonbury Festival when it returns next year
Taylor Swift appeared to be staging a one-woman fashion show in New York last week, wearing an array of chic outfits.
But with the pop influencer set to headline Glastonbury next year, the designer might want to add a pair of wellies to his collection.
The Mail on Sunday can reveal music industry insiders say Ms Swift, 36, is ‘almost nailed’ on playing the Pyramid stage in 2027.
He has taken a break from performances since completing his 149-day Eras world tour in December 2024.
‘Taylor seems to have complete certainty,’ says a source. ‘Everything is going well and everything is moving in a positive direction.’
This comes after bride-to-be Ms. Swift dined with her fiancé, American football star Travis Kelce (pictured right), at New York restaurant Or’esh on Friday. She wore a £290 floral dress by LA designer Doen.
On Monday, Taylor Swift stepped out for a family night out, sweetly holding hands with her mom as they headed to dinner at Eighty-Six in the West Village.

This was the singer’s fourth night out in the city that week.
On Thursday, she was seen leaving exclusive membership club Zero Bond wearing a £900 peplum blouse by Stella McCartney. She paired the shirt with a £3,500 Fendi micro bag.
Two nights ago, Ms Swift attended author Lena Dunham’s 40th birthday party at Italian restaurant Via Carota in a £718 long-sleeved Retrofete mini dress.
She accessorised with £770 Gucci slingback heels and a £2,000 Dior bucket bag.
On Monday, the day after U.S. Mother’s Day, she went to dinner with her mother Andrea, father Scott and brother Austin.
For the occasion, she wore a crystal-studded Valentino dress worth £3,900 and a pair of Louboutins worth £1,395.
Ms Swift’s appearance at Glastonbury will be a major victory for promoter Emily Eavis, who has been criticized for not featuring enough female artists in the festival’s top slots.
The industry source added: ‘There hasn’t been a major female lead on the Pyramid stage for many years and this is something organizers know is a problem. Taylor Swift will solve this problem.’
It was said that the 14-time Grammy Award-winning artist would be in the lineup in 2024, as the festival would take place at the same time as the UK Eras tour dates. But hopes were dashed when he added more concerts to his schedule.
The Shake It Off singer’s trip to Worthy Farm is unlikely to result in an encounter with ex-boyfriend Harry Styles; The possibility of a Glastonbury debut has been ruled out by music insiders.
Of course, Miss Swift will become Miss Kelce when she arrives in Somerset. She is expected to marry NFL star Kelce this July in New York.
