Taylor Swift shares adorable childhood video of herself dressed as a cowgirl as she sets her sights on EGOT status with her new Toy Story song

After kicking off her Oscar nominations with a new Toy Story song, Taylor Swift made a sweet reference to her childhood with a cute throwback video.
The singer returned to her country roots by releasing I Knew It, I Knew You for the fifth installment of the hit franchise.
Celebrating the release, Taylor took to Instagram to share a sweet video of herself dressed as a cowgirl in homage to the character Jessie.
In a touching caption, the hitmaker said recording the song felt like ‘coming home’ as he had been a Toy Story fan since the age of five.
He wrote: ‘Writing this song felt like a musical departure and a homecoming at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature.
‘And being a @toystory kid since the age of 5… is an adventure I plan to join to infinity and beyond.

After announcing the song, fans flocked to social media to predict that Swift would win her first Academy Award next year for her Toy Story 5 song.
With a star receiving an Oscar, Grammy, Emmy and Tony Award, this win will kick off Taylor’s quest to secure the coveted EGOT status.
‘And the oscar goes to… TAYLOR SWIFT!’ A fan gushed at X shortly after the song dropped.
Another Stan wrote: ‘Have y’all heard of this? This is the voice for which the academy has already hand-carved its Oscar.’

Many fans also had praise for Swift’s regular producer and co-songwriter, Jack Antonoff.

Swift maximized fans’ expectations on Monday when she announced that she was composing a new country song for her upcoming animated movie.
The artist, who will marry Travis Kelce in New York on July 3, gave the exciting news on Instagram.
‘This is a *Toy* Story. You knew this! My new original song for Disney and @pixar “I Knew, I Knew You” @pixar’s @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th,’ the songbird wrote in the caption.
‘I’ve always dreamed of writing for these characters, whom I’ve admired since I watched the first Toy Story movie as a five-year-old.’
Taylor later added: ‘When I was lucky enough to see Toy Story 5 in its early stages I instantly fell in love and wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?
The star added that fans can pre-order the song exclusively on the website, and Toy Story 5 will hit theaters on June 19.
Providing music for movies is nothing new for Taylor. For Valentine’s Day in 2010, he had Today Was a Fairytale. In 2012, she sang the songs Eyes Open and Safe & Sound for The Hunger Games. In 2017, she and Zayn made I Don’t Want to Live Forever for Fifty Shades Darker. More recently, she wrote and performed Carolina from 2022’s Where the Crawdads Sing.
Toy Story 5 features Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack).
The synopsis reads: ‘The gang’s business is challenged when they come face to face with a brand new tablet device, Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), who comes with her own subversive ideas about what’s best for her kids, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same again?’
The film features an original score by Oscar winner Randy Newman, who returns for his fifth Toy Story feature film.
