Taylor Swift had the best seat in the house at Game 4 of the NBA Finals after allegedly arriving at the wedding venue at Madison Square Garden to cheer on the New York Knicks against the San Antonio Spurs.
The pop megastar is jumping into sideline action without her fiancé, Travis Kelce, who can’t join her in the Big Apple while he’s at a mandatory three-day minicamp with the Kansas City Chiefs in preparation for the 2026 NFL season.
Instead, Swift is having a girls’ night out at the Garden with her boyfriend as the Knicks try to avoid a second straight playoff loss and come within one win of the NBA Championship.
He brought his two closest friends to the 4th game on Wednesday night; Sisters Alana and Este Haim, two-thirds of the pop-rock band HAIM, also took courtside seats.
The trio wore funny blue-orange T-shirts dedicated to the home team; Swift’s front read “Stevie Knicks,” a clever twist on the Fleetwood Mac singer. Meanwhile, Alana and Este also wore custom ‘Knickole Kidman’ and ‘Knickelback’ tops.
In his first appearance on the jumbotron at MSG, Swift received a largely warm reception from the home crowd, in stark contrast to President Donald Trump, who was persistently mocked in Game 3 on Monday night.

Although there were some boos for the singer, the majority of fans in attendance showered him with cheers before tipoff.
Swift, who hit the red carpet in Los Angeles a few days ago for the premiere of Toy Story 5, is a huge Knicks fan after living in New York for several years.
The insider also told the Daily Mail last week that he was set to marry Kelce at MSG on July 3 after the couple decided to ’embrace the spectacle’ of a giant wedding.
The source also revealed that Taylor and Travis considered Casa Cipriani in Manhattan’s Financial District as a potential venue before settling on the Knicks’ home, which can seat up to 22,000 people.
It is not yet clear how many people will be invited to the wedding, but fans are expected to be invited to the celebration.
During the final round of the NBA playoffs, Swift joined her future husband courtside cheering on his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers against the Knicks.
The music icon was criticized by New Yorkers for going against his favorite team that night, but he will undoubtedly line up behind the Knicks in Wednesday’s crucial matchup with the Spurs.

Swift joins a host of A-list stars in the celebrity lineup at MSG, including die-hard Knicks fans Timothee Chalamet, Ben Stiller and Spike Lee.
Chalamet was sitting courtside with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, whose best friend Hailey Bieber had to move to a higher suite in the arena.
Swift won’t have to brace herself for a potentially awkward encounter with Donald Trump, however, after the president opted to skip Game 4 following a controversial appearance on Monday night.
Trump was roundly booed when he was featured on the jumbotron during the national anthem, after his presence meant the secret service had to close down the streets around the arena to accommodate security procedures needed to keep him safe.
Fans were told to arrive hours before the game and were forced to line up in the streets under the scorching sun to pass through airport-style security under secret service surveillance.
Trump and Swift attended the Super Bowl in New Orleans in February 2025, where the Philadelphia Eagles beat Kelce’s Chiefs 40-22.

Regardless of the outcome at MSG on Wednesday, the NBA Finals will advance to game five on Saturday night in San Antonio.
From there, a possible Game 6 will be played in New York on Tuesday, June 16, with the decider in Texas on Friday, June 19.
