The wedding buzz surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is reaching full-blown spectacle status; because their big day could become one of the most star-studded events in modern pop culture.

Music legends Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw will perform at what insiders are calling a “Wedding-palooza” concert reportedly planned for Madison Square Garden. Page Six.

Swift’s first Billboard hit song, when she was 16, was called “Tim McGraw,” and the booking reportedly felt almost scripted for fans scrutinizing every detail.

The “Bejeweled” singer, who is known for embedding “Easter egg” clues into her public appearances, may have already hinted at the celebration.

He recently wore a shirt that read “Stevie Knicks” during Game 4 of the NBA Finals at MSG on June 10; this moment is being re-examined through the lens of wedding speculation from her fans, known as Swifties.

“I heard Taylor invited so many people it will be bigger than the Met Gala,” a source told the media outlet.

Speculation grew even more intense in Nashville, where Swift moved to pursue her music career at the age of 14.

Sources said “there will be multiple performances” at the MSG event, which was reported on Friday. Some even raised the possibility of a surprise appearance by Paul McCartney, who previously shared the stage with Swift at the 40th anniversary celebration of “Saturday Night Live” in 2015.

Meanwhile, Kelce’s father fuels the wedding frenzy.

He also previously explained how Kelce made the offer:

“He took her out, they were about to go out to dinner and he said, ‘Let’s go out and have a glass of wine.’ … They went out there and that’s when he asked her and it was lovely,” she told News 5 Cleveland. “They started FaceTiming me and their mom and her family to let everyone know. After two years of dating, the couple reportedly announced their engagement in August 2025.

The New York Times reported that streets around Madison Square Garden were allowed to be closed from July 2 through July 4, with additional regulations suggesting a special multi-day event. Another application stated there was room for off-field canopy or tent setup, and hotel reservations for Kansas City Chiefs players were reportedly made at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

Madison Square Garden is preparing to host wedding festivities on July 3, a city official said. Amtrak Police were also reportedly notified of the expected event tied to the wedding weekend.

The clearest signal so far may come from the rumored structure itself: a two-level celebration with a second, full-scale takeover of Madison Square Garden expected to host more than 1,000 guests, following an intimate kickoff gathering of 100 people.

Despite the announcement of a confirmed wedding date, Swift was previously known for her grand gestures and elaborate events.

He once joked that “anyone I talk to” could get on the guest list, and told Graham Norton that he preferred larger weddings because “the only stressful weddings” are those where it becomes impossible to shorten the list.
