Stellantis‘Ram Brand canceled a full -sized electric RAM 1500 van development plans by specifying a slowdown request to electric vehicles.

“As a demand for full -sized battery electric trucks slows down in North America, Stellantis re -evaluates the product strategy and will stop the development of a full -sized BEV collection process,” said a company spokesman on Friday. He said.

Stellantis delayed plans twice for the truck, which was expected to go on sale at the end of 2024.

Ram said he would plan to start an extended electric truck equipped with an electrical generator and a gas engine. This truck is expected to be released next year.

The company said it would rename this extended truck from “Ramcharger” to “RAM 1500 rev”.

The change sounds like Tim Kuniskis, a RAM CEO, which was not withdrawn from the automobile manufacturer at the end of last year, has initiated an aggressive return for the breastfeeding brand.

Antonio Filosa, the new Stellantis CEO, rejected some of its former CEO Carlos Tavares attempts and promised to “re -establish profitable growth and re -establish significant improved results” in late July.

The automobile industry is generally engaged in the adoption of electric vehicles more slowly than expected. The Trump management also tries to loosen most of the former president Joe Biden’s automobile industry from gas -burning internal combustion engines and canceled tax loans to buy homes.
