Teen fatally stabbed behind Sydney school in Rouse Hill
A 17-year-old boy has died after being stabbed behind a school in Sydney’s northwest.
Following the news of the attack, at 16.20 on Monday, a large number of emergency response teams, including the CareFlight helicopter, were sent to the park behind Rouse Hill High School.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. He was stabbed in the leg.
The police received a tip that two people believed to be young people had fled the scene. One of them is thought to be wearing a school uniform.

A perimeter has been set up at the entrance of the reserve on Caballo Street, between Rouse Hill High School and Ironbark Public School. Local detectives are continuing the investigation alongside the State Crime Command homicide squad.
Attorney General Michelle Rowland, whose federal electorate of Greenway includes Rouse Hill, said she was “deeply saddened” to learn of the child’s “tragic” death.
“My thoughts and deepest condolences are with the young boy’s family at this extremely difficult time,” Rowland said in a statement.
