Telangana Assembly Budget Session Begins Today; Governor to Unveil Telangana Thalli Statue

Hyderabad: The budget session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly will begin on Monday with a series of important events to be held at the Assembly premises.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla will unveil the statue of Telangana Thalli in front of the renovated Telangana Legislative Council building in the Assembly complex.
Following the opening ceremony, the Governor will address a joint session of members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council to mark the official start of the budget session.
Meanwhile, legislators from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will pay tribute to the martyrs at the Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial in Gun Park in the morning before joining the Assembly session.
BRS MLAs and MLCs are expected to attend the Assembly sessions later in the day.
During the session, the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) will decide on the duration of the Assembly sessions. The state budget is scheduled to be presented by Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on March 20.
