Telangana CEO Orders Action over Assault on BLOs
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C Sudershan Reddy a few days ago asked the police department to take necessary action and submit a compliance report in connection with a case related to attack on BLOs.
He urged the Director General of Police and GHMC Commissioner to investigate the matter and take necessary action immediately and submit the compliance report to the Telangana State Women Commission and also to the CEO office immediately.
The issue relates to women BLOs being attacked and obstructed while discharging their official electoral duties (SIR). Reddy asked that the issue be treated as the most urgent issue and acted accordingly.
