Telangana CM holds meeting with Collectors of districts impacted by Cyclone Montha

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s video conference with senior officials and Collectors of Cyclone Montha-affected districts began on Thursday morning, October 30, 2025. Before the hurricane arrived, he instructed the authorities to take precautions to supply corn, cotton and grain and to prevent farmers from suffering losses.
During the video conference, the Prime Minister gave instructions on procurement of food grains, repairing damaged roads, alerting locals about water levels and water bodies in irrigation projects and other matters.
Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Civil Supplies and Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and others were present at the meeting.
According to data recorded by the Telangana Development Planning Association from Wednesday morning to 8.30 am on Thursday, extremely heavy rainfall (over 20.44 cm) was recorded in Hanumakonda, Warangal, Siddipet, Karimnagar, Mahabubabad, Karimnagar and Jangaon on Wednesday.
