Rob Edwards: Middlesbrough manager stood down amid interest from Wolves

Boss Rob Edwards has withdrawn from Middlesbrough’s match against Birmingham on Saturday amid interest from Wolves in appointing him as their new manager.
Wolves saw their request to meet Edwards rejected by Boro on Thursday and the manager was locked in talks with members of the Championship club’s hierarchy on Friday.
Edwards did not hold the pre-match press conference and did not supervise the team’s final training session before the game against Birmingham.
And it has emerged this afternoon that he will not be taking charge of the Championship game at home against the Blues.
