Telangana Government to Launch 3 Major Welfare Schemes from Monday

Haydarabad: The state government is preparing to launch three major welfare plans aimed at supporting poor families, women and unemployed young people. The distribution of new ration cards for BPL families and interest -free loans to women will be launched on Monday. The third plan will see the payment of funds in August, Rajiv Yuva Vikasam for unemployed young people.
Prime Minister A. Revanth Redy will launch the distribution of five Lakh ration cards at a public meeting in Tungaturthi election zone in the Nalgonda region on 14 July.
N. Uttam Kumar Redy, Minister of Civil Services, described the distribution as a turning point to fulfill the congress government’s commitment to food safety. Each ration card owner will take six kilograms per person per month, and are completely free.
He criticized the previous BRS regime for not giving a ration card for more than a decade or not updating existing cards. On the other hand, the congress government has institutionalized the distribution of ration cards as a continuous process. With the addition of new cards and updated family data, the number of beneficiaries will stand in 94.72 Lakh family in the Lakh family.
In a parallel welfare attempt, the government issued a Crore of 344 RS on Saturday to distribute interest -free loans to women’s self -aid froup (SHGs). Of these, the ₹ 300 Crore will go to rural SHGs and 44 RS Crore to urban SHGs. The funds were released to the Rural Poverty Association (SERP) with the Czech distribution planned between 14-18 July. Ministers and MLAs will control the distribution locally.
Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka said that the previous BRS government has stopped the SHG loan payments and left 3,000 RS in dues. He said that the Congress government continued to pay after taking office and increased women’s financial strengthening and economic activities.
Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Plan for self -employed young people is preparing to be released in August. The government received 16.21 Lakh application for 4.91 Lakh unit in April and May. The short -list candidates were forwarded to banks for final approval within the scope of the hybrid plan that combines government subsidies and bank loans, and the support ranged from 50,000 RS to 4 Lakh.
