Telangana heatwave peaks as Nizamabad logs 46℃ on April 27, hottest this summer

Telangana records highest temperatures On Monday, April 27, 2026, many districts were shaken by intense heat wave conditions. Temperatures exceeded 45°C and reached 46°C for the first time this summer. According to the Telangana Development Planning Association’s weather report, maximum temperatures were recorded between 45°C and 46°C in a total of 12 districts. A maximum temperature of 42.5°C was recorded in Charminar area in the state capital.
Mendora in Nizamabad district emerged as the hottest place, recording the maximum temperature of 46 degrees. This was followed by Bela (Adilabad), Nirmal Rural (Nirmal), Manthani (Peddapalli) with 45.9°C, Dharmapuri (Jagtial), Bichkunda (Kamareddy), Asifabad (Kumaram Bheem Asifabad), Bheemaram (Mancherial) with 45.6°C, Chigurumamidi (Karimnagar), Damaracherla (Nalgonda) with 45.6°C. 45.2°C in Rudrangi (Rajanna Sircilla) and 45°C in Akkannapet (Siddipet).
