Telstra outage exposes major vulnerabilities

TELSTRA INTERRUPTION

Three stories dominate the headlines this morning: the fallout from the Telstra outage, NSW’s State of Origin victory and Donald Trump Once again I shout out to Iran.

Let’s start with the first one, shall we?

ABC A report emerged overnight saying Telstra had notified the Communications Minister’s office Anika Wells about Wednesday’s outage about two and a half hours after an issue was detected.

Telstra defended its communications, saying the government was notified “very, very early” in the morning after an issue was first noticed at around 4.30am.
