On Friday, India was published by the United Kingdom Parliamentary Committee of Human Rights (JCHR), accusing the new Delhi of transnational pressure in the UK. In a UK Parliamentary Committee report, in response to queries on references to India, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Randhir Jaiswal said that the reference is based on unidentified and suspected sources.

“We have seen the references to India in the report and we categorically reject these unfounded claims. These allegations are mainly due to individuals who have an open, open, documented india -anti -india hostility. He said.

“Intentionally confidence in discredit sources, the report calls for the reliability of the report itself.”

The UK Parliament’s Parliamentary Human Rights Committee (JCHR) claimed that many foreign governments, including a transnational pressure in the UK, in India, have efforts to threaten, monitor or silence individuals and communities in the United Kingdom. The document states the evidence affecting countries such as China, Russia, Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and India in activities defined as transnational print forms (TNR).

India was one of the 12 countries defined in the report based on evidence presentations by the committee. In particular, the section referring to India is based on materials presented by Sihs for Justice, a pro -Khalistan advocacy group called “an illegal association” in accordance with the law of illegal activities of India.

Compiled by a panel between the members of the Parliament, the report blames some foreign governments in a way that will suppress their free expression, restrict the movement, and create fear among the diaspora communities in the UK. It also emphasizes an increase of 48% in MI5 research on state -related threats since 2022 and indicates an increase in concern about foreign intervention against British territory.
