Youth killed as bike crashes into Metro pillar

A 22-year-old young man died and another was seriously injured when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a metro pole in Muttom near Kalamassery on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Bilal, a native of Konni in Pathanamthitta. The accident occurred in the early hours of Monday when the youth lost control of the bike. Police sources said that the person died at the scene.

Kollam native Sreeram, who was sitting in the back, was admitted to Kalamassery Government Medical College Hospital as he suffered head injuries in the accident.
