Texas Blames ESG Efforts in Probe of Xcel Over 2024 Wildfires

(Bloomberg) – Texas Chief Public Prosecutor is investigating Xcel Energy Inc. and its contractor for two forest fires that ruined the state last year, saying that companies may give priority to environmental and diversity targets in maintenance and safety.
