Who is IAS G. Srijana, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner?

In 2013, IAS officer G. Srijana was appointed as the Commissioner of the newly formed Cyberabad Municipal Corporation by the Government of Telangana. Prior to the new appointment, he served as Additional Commissioner and Panchayat Raj Commissioner and Rural Development Commissioner in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
Prior to this, he worked as Collector of NTR and Kurnool districts in Andhra Pradesh, Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh Industries department and Commissioner of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation. Ms. Srijana also served as Joint Collector of Vizag and Sub-Collector, Vijayawada.
St. in Mehdipatnam She pursued her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Ann’s College for Women and her master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Hyderabad.
On Wednesday, Ms. Srijana took charge as Commissioner of Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, which has Kukatpally, Serilingampally and Quthbullapur Districts having 16 Circles and 76 Zones. The new corporation was formed after the division of GHMC into three bodies including Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation and reorganization of GHMC.
