Pakistan’s Saim Ayub dismisses India pressure with epic one-liner ahead of blockbuster clash

At a press conference before a match before the Asian Cup 2025 conflict between India and Pakistan, the young Pakistani opener Saim Ayub gave a calm and confident one lining with fans and experts.
Saim Ayub quickly became a key player for Pakistan’s Cricket Team. The ODI average has a strike rate of nearly 50 and 136 T20I, which shows how good it can be. It wasn’t always consistent, but it’s just 23 years old and just beginning. Ayub has not yet played against India and will want to be successful when they play at Dubai International Stadium on 14 September.
India-Pakistan games are always very important, but Pakistan has not gained too much, which makes competition a little unilateral. Nevertheless, as Salman Agha Captain, Pakistan seemed to be a difficult team that could beat everyone if they played well. They recently won a Tri series in the UAE and easily beat Oman to start the Asian Cup, which made them safer. But playing India will have to play different and really better to challenge the Indian team.
Before the big match, a Pakistan reporter asked Ayub, especially Jasprit Bumrah, Kuleep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy, with his strong bowl pottery, he asked the team that the team could play aggressive against India. Ayub was not sure at first, but then the team said they believed they could play aggressive against any team. This belief will be important because they are ready for an exciting game.
“We’re just trying to play fearless crickets against each team,” Ayub said at a press conference before the match.
Ayub underestimated the Pakistani matches against India and the excitement surrounding historical competition, although this is an important game for fans, the team’s primary focus was to win the Asian Cup instead of concentrating in the match against India.
“This is a big match, if you look at the fans’ perspective. But as a team, we do not see it. We take it as another game. As players, we want to heal every day. As a team, we believe in other players. We want to bring together a team of 15 players. He said.
“In the last 3-4 months, the management gave a message to learn and advance from the past. We are focusing on not thinking of the past and not looking at the future. This is not about what happened before. We focus on preparation and execution. We don’t just want to win the tournament. We just don’t expect Pakistani competition against India.”
