Texas shooting leaves one person dead and nine others in hospital | Texas

A shooting in Midland, Texas, on Friday left one person dead and nine people hospitalized, according to city officials.
Police said the possible suspect got into a shootout with officers Friday afternoon.
Law enforcement officers rushed to a street described as an industrial area of the city, located about 300 miles (500 km) west of Forth Worth and Dallas, after receiving reports of shots fired shortly after 8 a.m. local time, according to local media reports.
The attack was confirmed by Midland Mayor Lori Blong, the Associated Press reported. People are being treated at Midland Memorial Hospital, where the emergency room has been quarantined as a safety precaution.
