Trump’s Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem reveals extraordinary travel ban on ‘EVERY country flooding US with killers, leeches, and entitlement junkies’

Donald Trump’s Secretary of Homeland Security announced plans for a ‘total travel ban’ on countries that send ‘murderers, leeches and power addicts’ to the US, following his meeting with the president.
Kristi Noem did not specify which countries would be banned, but her announcement followed last week’s attack on two National Guard members in Washington, D.C.
‘I just met with the Prime Minister. Noem wrote on social media: I am proposing a complete travel ban on every damn country that fills our nation with murderers, leeches, and power addicts.
‘Our ancestors built this nation on blood, sweat and an unyielding love of freedom; Not for foreign invaders to slaughter our heroes, suck up our hard-earned tax dollars, or snatch away the benefits we owe Americans. WE DON’T WANT THEM. NOT ONE.’
Trump shared Noem’s post on his Truth Social page, clearly approving of it.
His plan comes after Trump announced Wednesday that he would halt all immigration from Afghanistan, including decisions regarding refugee status, following the attack in the nation’s capital.
Trump also vowed to permanently halt immigration from all Third World countries and announced that cases of immigrants from the 19 countries covered by the travel ban would be re-examined.
These countries include Afghanistan, Iran, Somalia, Haiti, Sudan, Yemen, Libya and Venezuela.

Noem is a close ally of Trump, having served as Governor of South Dakota before joining the Trump administration in 2025. As head of Homeland Security, he oversees agencies responsible for immigration control, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Since Trump returns to the White House in 2025, the agency has launched an intensified crackdown described by officials as the toughest enforcement effort in years.
Arrest teams are conducting more business raids and neighborhood sweeps, and there has been a significant increase in deportation flights to countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal has been named as the gunman detained in connection with the shooting that left two soldiers in critical condition at the Farragut West subway station in central Washington DC.
The father of five is facing first-degree murder charges after Sarah Beckstrom, a 20-year-old member of the West Virginia National Guard, died from her injuries on Thanksgiving Day. His colleague Andrew Woolfe, 24, was seriously injured in the ambush-style attack and is still fighting for his life.
Law enforcement sources initially told NBC News that the gunman was determined to be an Afghan national and that the attack was being investigated as a possible act of terrorism.
According to sources speaking to The New York Post, Joe Biden allegedly came to the United States during the chaotic US withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021 as part of Operation Welcome Allies.
The operation aimed to resettle vulnerable Afghans, including those who aided the United States during the war. Lakanwal appears to reside in Bellingham, Washington.
Biden has long defended the disastrous withdrawal that cost the lives of 13 Americans and weakened the U.S.-backed Afghan government against the Taliban, ultimately allowing the terror group to regain control.
Donald Trump has vowed that the ‘animal’ who shot soldiers will ‘pay a very heavy price’. Authorities said the suspect was shot during the conflict and was treated at the hospital.
According to CNN, police seized a gun believed to have been used in the attack from the scene. When a helicopter landed on the National Mall to evacuate one of the injured National Guard members, the FBI, ATF and Secret Service rushed to the scene.
Trump has deployed 2,300 National Guard troops to D.C. since August as part of his promise to combat rampant crime in the nation’s capital.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said the president ordered the deployment of an additional 500 troops following Wednesday’s attack, calling it a “cowardly, despicable act targeting America’s best.”
Following the shooting, the president wrote to Truth Social: ‘God bless our Great National Guard, our entire Army and Law Enforcement.
‘These are truly Great People. ‘I, the President of the United States, and all those associated with the Office of the President, stand with you!’ Law enforcement sources told CNN that the suspected shooter was not cooperating with officers.
According to sources, Lakanwal first appeared to target the soldiers by shooting at one of the guards just a few feet away. The suspect then allegedly shot at other guards who were trying to get behind a bus stop.
