Thai teen’s friend confronted accused killer Simon Carman at filthy apartment in search for Tunchanok Donhomla

New footage shows the moment a worried friend of Thai teenager Tunchanok Donhomla confronted the West Australian man accused of killing him on the day his body was found in a suitcase dumped near a train track.
While the unnamed young woman was shown at Simon Peter Carman’s dingy flat in Pataya, the body of her 17-year-old friend, whom she knew as Nong Cake, has yet to be found in tall grass about 4km away.
Mr. Carman, 45, faces charges including murder, transportation or disposal of a corpse, concealment of a corpse and abduction of a child for indecent purposes. If convicted, he could be sentenced to death by lethal injection.
In the photographs obtained ABC The teenager, whose identity is unknown to local authorities, is shown with Mr. Carman the day after his death, demanding to find his missing friend after filing a missing person report.

The footage also shows the condition of Mr. Carman’s apartment; here piles of clothes are scattered throughout the living space and empty alcohol bottles are on display. A pink bow is attached to her front door and an open pocket knife can also be seen.
Pattaya City Police chief Anek Srathongyoo told SBS Thai that the teenager contacted friends on the messaging app Line to say he had arrived safely at his hotel after meeting Mr Carman at around 3.30am.
Mr Carman was arrested on Friday night, minutes before boarding a Jetstar flight to Perth.
After her arrest, the girl’s naked body and personal belongings were found in a suitcase.

West confirmed that the Perth man is currently being held in Pattaya Remand Prison, where detectives are trying to present their case to the prosecutor within 84 days of the arrest.
Ms. Donhomla was buried in her hometown in Thailand’s north-eastern Kalasin province.
Hundreds of people took to the streets to pay their respects at the ceremony, which was held in accordance with Buddhist traditions.
