Thalapathy Vijay’s 10th marksheet: Amid TN 12th results 2026 announcement, TVK chief viral scorecard shows 47 percent in Maths

At a time when the Tamil Nadu Board is announcing the Plus Two board exam results, actor-politician Vijay’s Class 10 mark sheet has gone viral on social media. The report card shows that Vijay was apparently an “average” student, scoring 65 per cent in the Class 10 board exams. The alleged mark sheet shows that Vijay scored only 95 out of 200 in Mathematics, which translates to 47.5 percentile.

Vijay’s 10th mark chart

According to News 18, the ‘Jana Nayagan’ star gives details about how much he scored in each subject. The Tamil star scored 711 points out of 1100 points. It performed well in Tamil and scored 155 out of 200.

He later got 133 out of 200 in English. He received 206 out of 300 in science. In social sciences, he received 122 out of 200. Although he scored poorly in math, he received enough total points to pass.

Early school, university life

The Tamil star’s early education started in Chennai and he started his education at Fathima School in Kodambakkam and later shifted to Balalok School in Virugambakkam. Like other students, his school years were quite ordinary; There were no big headlines or academic records hinting at impending stardom.

After completing his education, he enrolled at Loyola College in Chennai to study visual communication. However, he dropped out of university after deciding to focus on acting in films; this choice eventually turned him into one of the biggest stars in the industry.

Vijay’s career in politics

After acting in films for over three decades, Thalapathy Vijay decided to enter politics and launched his own party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), in 2024. His party made a stunning debut in the Tamil Nadu assembly election results, securing 108 seats, but still falls short of a majority to form the government in the state.
His upcoming film Jana Nayagan will reportedly be his last project in cinema as he shifts his entire focus to his political career. Although Vijay did not complete his college education, education emerged as a main focus in his political messages. During his campaign, the TVK chief made a big promise targeting rural families. He stated that if his party comes to power, the government will cover all higher education expenses of students from farming families with less than two acres of land.
