Tharoor Urges Sportsmanship as BCCI, PCB File Complaints

New Delhi: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who is likely to confront India and Pakistan in the Asian Cup final on Sunday, focused on the discussions surrounding Indian players who refused to shake hands with Pakistani colleagues during the tournament.
While talking suddenly, Tharoor said that the emotions against Pakistan can be understood, but the spirit of the game should be kept separate from politics and military conflicts.
“After deciding to play personally, if we feel very strong about Pakistan, we should not play … But if we play them, we should play in the soul of a game and shake their hands … In 1999, we did it for the days we continued, because we scream against the world.
Senior Congress leader also said that the reactions from both sides show lack of sportsmanship.
“If the Pakistan team, who was first insulted for the second time, decided to insult us for the second time, shows that the spirit of the game is missing on both sides.”
On Thursday, the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) officially filed a official complaint against Pakistani jackets Farhan and Haris Rauf for their inappropriate actions during the high -voltage Asian Cup Super Four encounter on September 21st.
According to BCCI sources, a complaint was filed against the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Match referee Andy Pycroft. The Indian team demanded a strict action against both players for the behaviors they believe to cross the line of acceptable field behaviors.
During the strokes of Pakistan, Farhan celebrated the half -century controversially, holding his stick like a gun, and a widely criticized movement as an insensitive and provocative.
Later in the match, Pacer Haris Rauf entered under fire for more than one event. After his dismissal of Sanju Samson, Rauf showed aggression, and later placed near the border rope, Jeers, who came from Indian audience, replied to Pakistan’s six -day conflict in India’s operation in May, referenced his fingers to his fingers.
Rauf’s reaction spread like a forest fire, and the videos of the gesture became viral on social media. The 31 -year -old drew ay of a large number of Indian fans who trolled him for his action. During the incident, Rauf was mocked by fans who were manifested by the “Virat Kohli” during the T20 World Cup 2022, which was defined as ‘shooting of the century’ during the incident during the event.
Interestingly, the Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) had previously filed two complaints with the ICC against the Indian captain Surekumar Yadav. PCB objected to Yadav’s interpretation after the September 14 match in the expensive event and called it politically.
India humiliated Pakistan in two matches against each other as they moved to the Asian Cup finals. There is a possibility of encountering Pakistan again in the final of Sunday.
