“It was hell.”

That’s how David describes his experience of making him rough on a distant tropical beach.

“Mosquitoes were eating us alive, or he says. “I could not resist the amount of flies and crazy extreme heat.”

They also had only a number of clothes to wear.

“You just feel bad, you feel dirty,” says 30 -year -old.

He did not define a boot camp. Instead, he was talking about his time on the new BBC reality show trapped on Honeymoon Island.

It is like a cross between Davina McCall between First Sight and Love Island, who is married in Survivor.

Before pairing by experts, couples are collected only five minutes on the speed of speed before making a fake wedding and entering a honeymoon. They were stranded on an island and live in the beach huts, learn to deal with.

For some contestants, it was a lack of makeup or beauty products that broke them.

“I love my fake tan, I love my eyelashes,” says Helen, 35. “Nothing could prepare me to withdraw me all.”

And then there was loos.

“I was doing wearing to the beach,” a 29 -year -old Hannah, a third contestant, says. “I am a festival girl and I saw festival toilets better than it is an island.”

So, the ideal conditions for finding love are hardly ever.

But that’s all the show.

The idea is to discover whether love can develop alone. So can it work?

‘People were not trying to be impressive’

Critics of the existing appointment shows often say that their “challenges” are the most shocking.

The contestants say that some of the charm of the stranded on Honeymoon Island is the fact that all of them are robbed.

“Less superficial, Han Hannah says. “The originality was really noticeable.

“You don’t have to dress beautifully every day. You don’t tell you what conversations you can have.”

People in the friendship shows often say they really want to find a partner. But Hannah insists that it is true.

“The people I shared with the experience weren’t trying to be impressive, they didn’t try to get brand agreements, I really felt like every human being was there for love, and it was a challenge.”

‘Passing deep with someone in heaven’

Confronting distress can be a good test of whether a relationship will continue in the real world.

Lar Since they have to trust each other, it can lead to a stronger conclusion other than the show, Cat says Showbiz reporter Catrina Rose.

This is something David accepts.

“This is not just something that will be fun, or he says. “In fact, you will have to work hard and create a solid foundation with your partner.”

Another contestant, 31 -year -old Ollie, “you can really be deep with this person in heaven,” the idea is a great draw for him, he says.

“This is a perfect appointment in itself. Because it’s a challenge. It’s not easy.”

‘Typical Meeting’

There are currently many reality shows.

Love Island completed another season. At first sight, married married and Virgin Island was assigned for a second series.

So do we need someone else? Ms. Rose, who describes the program as “BBC’s response to Love Island”, says it will be difficult to achieve this new show, but she can shake a new mass by shaking something.

“It offers the contestants something different by showing them in survival mode, or he says.

“Emotional bets are higher as they get away from all luxury.”

The introduction of a new show with a little older contestants can be an indication of the nature of the meeting scene at the moment.

The average age of the competitors trapped on Honeymoon Island is around 30 when the players are mostly in the middle and in the middle of the 20s.

He is 31 years old and says that the single Ollie for six years has shown that people have settled later.

“I think people are trying to achieve more financial freedom before they settle or achieve goals,” he says.

For him, he presented a way to “cut the appointment garbage”.

Others say that age gives them perspective about what they are looking for.

In “35 years of age” Helen now says he knows what he’s looking for.

“This is not a bronze, you don’t look like that, it’s not material things, or he says.

“Do we love each other? Can we go through the ups and downs? I think when you come to a certain age, you understand what love really is.”

The 3 September BBC One and IPlayer, which are stranded on Honeymoon Island, starts at IPlayer.
