Every time a reform emerges, it is rejected by lobbyists and vested interests, the same people who finance the parties. The negative gear remains untouched, wealth and resource taxes never increase, and ordinary Australians keep being told to get over it while multinationals steal the profits.
There is also the ‘Shadow Government’, which is the government of advisors. PwC, KPMG, Deloitte and EY are embedded, advising, shaping, collecting fees and walking away clean when everything goes wrong. The problem is the system.
They cry to reform Australia! So will the Big 4 allow these?
