O’Grady grew up at Eatons Hill, son of Vet Allan O’grady, a local identity in front of T. Rex’s surgery.

At the age of eight, he branded his own name and a Clayfield College classmate’s parent and his wife, Malcolm Holmes, then Brisbane Lions CEO, Sarah Holmes, to design his dress for Brownlow medal event.

While studying Jimmy Choo and Ioana Ciolacu’s Alma Mater, he was no longer a golden boy. “You should love what you do, because they will try to destroy you in the best possible way. You get a thick skin.”
But the praise did not take long to come. In the second year, a hat and jewel he designed appeared Vogue Scandinavia.

“Finally, I would like to show at London Fashion Week and buy full collections and a shop one day.
“Always very crazy, fashion, because one day you just do something in your studio and you are making a dress for Chappell Roan the next day.”
