The duopoly’s secret ‘Defence Oversight Committee’. What’s the scam?

The Government has introduced a bill to Parliament to establish a Parliamentary Joint Defense Committee to undertake overall oversight of Australia’s defense agencies. What is fraud?
The fraud is that the committee will consist of 13 Senators and MPs from major parties other than the Greens and Independents.
Deputies will be appointed by the decision of the House of Representatives upon the proposal of the Prime Minister. Senators will be appointed by decision of the Senate upon the nomination of the Leader of the Government in the Senate. In other words, the committee that will examine AUKUS will consist of members of the parties that support the program.
When the Greens attempted to send the bill to a Senate committee with support for cross-examination last week, the Labor/LNP duo joined forces to avoid scrutiny.
The more some things change, the more they stay the same.
The committee will be tasked with reviewing, among other things, whitepapers, whitepapers, and other policy documents related to strategies and planning and talent development, acquisition, and sustainment.
The Committee has the authority to receive and evaluate confidential information in the performance of its duties, but
A public hearing cannot be permitted without the approval of the Minister.
Meanwhile, Defense spends far more money on external contractors than any other Government Agency.
