The eight signs that Andrew is the Invisible Man: Clues pile up that man asking Ghislaine Maxwell to meet ‘inappropriate friends’ in Epstein Files e-mails is the disgraced royal
A string of clues suggest Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could be the man calling himself the “Invisible Man” and asking Ghislaine Maxwell for “inappropriate friends” via email.
The bulk of the Epstein files released on Tuesday include a series of emails sent by a mysterious man who signed his messages with ‘A’.
It comes after a damning photo of the disgraced royal lying on top of five women was included in files released last week, as Andrew continues to deal with the fallout from his friendship with pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Speculation is mounting that Andrew may be the unidentified person who exchanged emails with Maxwell, Epstein’s ex-girlfriend and sex trafficker. The former prince has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.
In August 2001, ‘A’ texts Maxwell: ‘How’s Los Angeles doing? Did you find me inappropriate new friends?’
He adds: ‘Let me know when you’re coming as I’m free from 25th August to 2nd September and want to go somewhere warm and sunny with fun people before I put my nose firmly to the grindstone for the Autumn.’
Maxwell also talks to the mysterious person referred to as the ‘Invisible Man’ about ‘bipedal vision’ and a number of other schemes.

An email signed ‘A’ to Ghislaine Maxwell was included in the Epstein files
A photo of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein relaxing in the Queen’s log cabin at Balmoral was previously shown in the sex trafficking trial.
Andrew was assigned the same email address in Epstein’s contacts
The mystery man’s email address is ‘abx17@dial.pipex.com’.
This same address belongs to the disgraced former prince, also in Epstein’s contact directory.
Works at Balmoral
In August 2001 the unidentified man writes to Maxwell: ‘I’m here at Balmoral Summer Camp for the Royal Family.’
Balmoral is clearly a royal building; Scottish home and Highland retreat owned by Andrew’s brother, King Charles. The former prince was a frequent visitor to Balmoral.
He’s with the Royal Family
Likewise, the person states that he is from the Royal Family, i.e. Andrew’s family.
Mention of ‘Girls’
Andrew has two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
In an August 2001 e-mail to Maxwell, the Invisible Man claims to be “completely exhausted” and says “Girls” is “completely shattered.” He writes this while at Balmoral.
He discusses his servant’s death
On August 18, 2001, the man details how he lost his “butler” that week. ‘He was with me since I was 2 years old,’ his email reads.
‘I’m a bit unstable as not only has my office been restructured but my whole life is in disarray as I left the RN and now have no one to look after me. “He was a real rock star and almost part of the family,” he adds.
‘If you have any good ideas on how I can get my mind back on track, I’d appreciate your advice. See you soon… I hope you come. A xxx’
According to reports from 2001, Andrew’s butler, Michael Perry, 61, had died days before the email was sent.
A report in the Daily Mirror stated that the former prince and one of his brothers, Prince Edward, were said to be ‘devastated’ over the death of Perry, who had worked for them since their childhood.

In March 2002, Maxwell sent a message to the ‘Invisible Man’, relaying the message he had sent to an acquaintance.
He talks about leaving the Royal Navy
In the same 2001 email chain the man mentions leaving the Royal Navy.
Andrew officially left the Royal Navy in July 2001 after 22 years of service.
He discusses a trip to Peru and the dates match
In March 2002, Maxwell sent a message to the ‘Invisible Man’, relaying the message he had sent to an acquaintance.
‘I just gave Andrew your phone number,’ he writes to the other person. ‘Interested in seeing the Nazca Lines,’ he says, apparently referring to the archaeological site in Peru. ‘He can ride a horse, but it’s not his favorite sport, that is, riding horses.’
He adds: ‘A bit of a 2-footed view (read, quite fun and from good families) and he’ll be so happy. ‘I know that I can count on you to give him a great time and that you will only introduce him to friends you can trust and trust to be friendly, discreet and fun.’
The ‘Invisible Man’ replies: ‘I understand, I’ll call him today if I can. I love you A xxx’
Andrew visited Peru in March 2002 and was seen in photos of him in places including Lima.
Maxwell mentions ‘an English gentleman named Andrew’
In the emails, it appears Maxwell recently asked a friend to plan a ‘two-legged trip’ for Andrew, ‘an English-speaking gentleman’.
