The evidence is thin for Fair Work’s AI workload woes claim

The government wants to reform workplace relations law to prevent AI-backed claims from clogging up the Fair Work Commission (FWC). But documents released under FOI cast doubt on whether any evidence of such a problem actually exists.
The new bill, called Building Cooperative Workplaces, was introduced earlier this month and is expected to pass the House on Monday, without going through a Senate committee and after only limited debate. Australian Financial Review reported.
The bill has attracted mostly attention for a regulation that critics say would give unions more power.
