The Godfather Part III actor Anthony Guidera died at the age of 65, three weeks after his heart stopped for unknown reasons.
Guidera made his film debut in the third Godfather movie, playing the bodyguard to a cast that included Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, Andy Garcia and Sofia Coppola.
His heart stopped beating on May 11 and he collapsed in the living room of their California home, his shattered widow Valarie revealed Tuesday.
Valarie said her husband was hospitalized and put on life support, where he remained for three weeks. TMZ.
In accordance with his previous instructions, Guidera was removed from life support and allowed to be taken home so he could die naturally.
The San Francisco-born actor died on Saturday, and according to Valarie, doctors were unable to determine why his heart was failing.
