Sridhar Babu Launches ₹72.88-Cr Development Works In Manthani

Karimnagar: IT minister D. Sridhar Babu laid the foundation stone and inaugurated projects worth around ₹72.88 crore focusing on public infrastructure, community welfare and urban beautification in Manthani constituency of Peddapalli district on Monday.
One of the major projects was the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Roads and Buildings (R&B) guest house, built near Kuchivaripalli school at a cost of ₹4.5 crore.
To improve connectivity and public facilities, the minister approved several transport-related projects, including new bus stands at Sriram Nagar, Kuchirajupalli and Ganapuri costing ₹ 10 lakh each. He also initiated a major bridge project worth ₹ 9.3 crore connecting Boyinpeta and Gangpuri. He also visited the site of the proposed Advanced Technology Centers (ATC), an ambitious project estimated at ₹45.15 crore.
Significant funds were allocated to community halls and religious institutions. The Minister laid the foundation stones of community halls for Munnuru Kapu, Scheduled Caste, Brahmin, Padmashali and Arya Vysya communities.
Sanctions were also imposed on unions’ community halls, including tailors’ and barbers’ associations. An Idgah project costing ₹ 30 lakh has been initiated, along with beautification and construction work for temples dedicated to Pochamma, Hanuman and Ayyappa.
Utility infrastructure also received attention, with the foundation stones being laid for a Women’s Building and a Retired Employees’ Recreational Club, each costing ₹ 50 lakh. The minister also inaugurated a Media Press Club and a nursery for the elderly. In the education sector, approval has been given to construct a compound wall for MPPS school.
The program concluded with the distribution of Indiramma House sanction letters to 317 beneficiaries and Kalyana Lakshmi checks to 125 families from Manthani, Mutharam, Ramagiri and Kamanpur mandals.
