Surf Lodge in the Hamptons is famous for its chicken tender tower, and now the celebrity hotspot has teamed up with Popeyes to offer guests an “elevated” Louisiana-style dining experience.
The partnership marks a “first-of-its-kind” collaboration between Popeyes and The Surf Lodge for the summer, according to a news release from the fast food chain.
Recently, Lodge’s $150 chicken tender tower served with fries and dips has attracted a cult following. Last year, a commenter on TikTok raved that it was “amazing,” “might be the best chicken tender I’ve ever had,” and was “worth every penny.”

“Guests at The Surf Lodge will find the Louisiana chicken brand at the heart of every social gathering, featuring hand-breaded, hand-battered, crispy Louisiana chicken fillets that deliver flavor in every bite,” Popeyes said. he said.
“These tenders will be stacked in a multi-level tower and served with an array of Popeyes dips, creating a premium culinary experience designed to be the center of attention.”

Popeyes said the $150 price tag will remain “to align with The Surf Lodge’s premium lodging experience.” Chicken tender boxes, which include dipping sauces, will also be available, starting at $40 for two.
Popeyes said the tower will be “the most photographed dining moment of the summer.”

According to Rolling Stone, Surf Lodge’s summer concert series, which will last until Labor Day, will feature many famous performances, including Snoop Dogg and Teddy Swims.
Popeyes said its partnership with the Lodge will place the brand “at the heart of the East Coast’s premier music venue, where the world’s best performers and the liveliest summer social scene collide.”

Popeyes will also offer signature menu launches, exclusive discounts and exclusive specials throughout the summer.

Surf Lodge opened in 2008 and expanded in 2019 with The Snow Lodge in Aspen, Colorado. The summer concert series featured artists such as John Legend, Jimmy Buffett, Willie Nelson, Wyclef Jean and many more.
The chicken tender tower’s popularity has spread beyond Montauk, garnering attention on social media and becoming one of the venue’s signature menu items.

Redditors contributed their theories about why chicken tenders are so prominent. Some noted that the players frequently drank alcohol and that chicken meat was “the safest food, especially when you’re drunk,” one person wrote.
