Only one stone throw from London, the town of Chesham is known for four BS: boots, brushes, beer and baptists. However, in addition to its historical importance as a market and production town, Chesham is considered a great place to retire. In partnership with the Happiness Research Institute, the retirement provider L & G listed the town – with the neighboring Amersham – at the beginning of the list of pension places. The study listed each British election zone against a combination of access to good housing, health, community, finance, nature and opportunities.
The town of Buckinghamshire was greeted by experts due to “more than 65 good physical and mental health”, thanks to a large extent accessible health services and a strong sense of community.

Residents who spoke with Daily Express accepted. 56 -year -old Desmond Royle, priced from London and came to Chesham 15 years ago with his wife, said the town “controlled all boxes”.
He said: “Health service is excellent and the local Amersham hospital in front of the door saves time. Life is not as slow and as angry as other towns. You can still go out at night and feel safe.”
Within 10 miles of Chesham, the maintenance quality commission records 94 GP services and the majority has the second best grade. Three hospitals are in a radius of five miles.
The Chesham Municipal Assembly also organizes health at Hight Street, a community activity where people can access free health checks, healthy living advice and expert negotiations.

Another beloved aspect of the town is the greens. Chesham is located in the heart of Chiltern Hills, an extraordinary natural field of natural beauty, famous for its natural trails and rural landscapes.

There is also a real sense of community. Royle added: “People are willing to support each other and to explain the ongoing events, still with great places to eat, the city center is tired and need to get support, but 10 minutes from Amersham.”

Settled Lauren Cansdale, Express, grief support, 11 church, sewing club, choirs, garden groups or dementia cafes, including the elderly, said too much help.
Lauren, who moved a lot around Chesham, always appreciated to live with retired neighbors.
He said: “To have young families with retired people, is a good way to offer friendly support to young parents who are unforgettable, overwhelmed, and there is even Christmas lunch for those who are lonely.”
Perhaps one of a few disadvantages – or a benefit depending on how you look at it – Chesham is how rugged it is. A Facebook user commented: “If you are retired here, consider how much you will live uphill, because I’m only 20 years old and walking to that hill every time it takes life, so it is recommended to live more to the valley, if you are more close to the town.”
Aside from the unforgettable slopes, Chesham’s developing street, excellent health facilities and tight -linked community have made it a center of optimism that many towns will definitely look at in jealousy.
For those looking for a quiet, easy retirement, it should not be surprised to be greeting as a paradise.
