However, many people who have never seen America up close are learning firsthand just how amazing this country can be when they truly stop and consider all it has to offer.

The internet has been well-acquainted with a German fan named Freddy documenting his trip to South America, but everyone’s favorite guy from Germany isn’t the only foreign soccer fan who’s in awe of the United States.

While pickup trucks, country music and trips to Hooters may be commonplace to most of you reading this, for one British fan who made the pilgrimage to the beautiful USA-of-A, it was a mind-blowing experience that few Europeans can understand.

He probably went from eating fish and chips with mashed peas to throwing down a basket of wings surrounded by beautiful women.

As I said before, you don’t have to be European or Japanese to appreciate what we have in the United States.

It has almost become “fashionable” to view America as a wasteland or a place devoid of culture, but there is so much beauty in every direction.

Hopefully, by the end of this year’s World Cup, everyone’s eyes will be opened to the fact that this country is a great country, and it doesn’t take a lot of visitors to tell us that.
