There was nothing unexpected about Pauline Hanson’s speech

Shortly before the room falls silent and the opening music plays, Senator Pauline Hanson is called to the stage. He sits surrounded by a crescent of TV cameras, every turn of his head deliberate and deliberate, as if he’s trying to find the best angle for a portrait.
