A massive fire has broken out in Sheffield city center and thick smoke has been seen for miles, with people urged to avoid the area and take additional precautions. Fire crews are responding to the fire on Bahçe Street.

The cause of the fire is unknown and there are no confirmed reports of injuries at this stage, but motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area. A statement from the fire service said: “Firefighters are currently responding to a fire in Sheffield Garden Street.
