These Indian philanthropists have donated over ₹100 crore in FY25: Shiv Nadar, Mukesh Ambani, Bajaj family—See full list

Some 191 philanthropists donated cumulatively, including 12 new entrants 10,380 crore, up 85% from three years ago, according to the India Philanthropy List 2025, a ranking of philanthropic individuals in India, released on November 6. Sudhir Mehta and Samir Mehta contributed 189 crore through UNM Foundation with donations from Cyrus S. Poonawalla and Adar Poonawalla It completed the top 10 with 173 crore through Villoo Poonawalla Foundation.

Other donors on the list who donated more 100 crore includes: Anil Agarwal and his family ( 172 crore / Anil Agarwal Foundation); Ranjan Pai and his family ( 160 crore / Manipal Foundation); Azim Premji and his family ( 147 crore / Azim Premji Foundation); Nithin and Nikhil Kamath — the youngest on the list ( 147 crore / Rainmatter Foundation); S Gopalakrishnan and his family ( 144 crore / Pratiksha Trust); Harish Shah and Bina Shah ( 137 crore / Harish & Bina Shah Foundation); Nandlal Rungta and his family ( 119 crore / Rungta Sons); and Kochouseph Chittilappilly and Sheela Kochouseph ( 107 crore / K Chittilappilly Foundation).
