Jaishankar Meets UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Other Leaders At UNGA

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar held a series of high -level meetings with international leaders, including UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, and focused on geopolitical tendencies among the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Jaishankar met with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf, where they discussed the ways of developing the partnership between India and Algeria. The two leaders also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East.

Unga’nın Jaishankar, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan with discussions covering bilateral cooperation and regional situation.
“He met with FM Prince @faisalbinfarhan from Saudi Arabia in Unga. He exchanged views on our bilateral cooperation and regional situation.”
In addition to bilateral meetings, Jaishankar met with the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
Jaishankar, “Today I was pleased to meet @un-tarral @antonioguterres in New York. Un @80, geopolitical trends, existing Hotspots and India’s perspectives discussed.” He said.
Jaishankar also expressed support to the UN GA President Anlena Baerbock. Jaishankar, “Today is happy to meet @un_pga Annalena Baerbock. He was sure of the full support of India’s presidency. India will continue to work with @un to reflect our time more relevant and reflecting.” He said.
In the early hours of the day, Jaishankar addressed the ongoing session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, and Bharat said that he would always maintain “freedom of election” and continue to be “a voice for the global south”.
