New Uber feature allows families to remotely book rides for elderly relatives

In the UK, Uber is starting a new feature that allows families to make remote reservations and watch for their elderly relatives.

These “high -level accounts” are specially designed to facilitate the use of driving greeting for the elderly to walk around.

The aerodynamic version of the application will include larger texts, easier buttons, simplified screens and less steps to provide reservation, to strengthen the older users more easily in service.

Thanks to UBER’s current “family profiles” feature, reliable family members or caregivers can invite an old adult to create an account.

This will allow the old user to make remote reservations or manage driving and provide remote support. The capabilities include live tracking of trips and the ability to apply to the driver or Uber’s security reporting line.

Lovers will be able to access the driver’s name and vehicle information when a reservation is made.

Users can save their favorite places for shortcut reservation or use flexible payment options, and also have the option to reserve travels independently without connecting to a relative.

High -level accounts were piloted in the USA and Latin America last month and will now be presented in the UK.

Uber said that he works with former users and accessibility defenders, that many elderly people are working to develop the feature designed to eliminate the concerns that technology is excluded or that they do not have digital understanding.
