Sniffer dog once honoured for finding nine missing people dies after eating nail-filled sausages that had been thrown in his kennel in ‘vile, cowardly act’

In Italy, a ‘hero’ Sniffer dog, a loan -loan ‘hero’ to find nine missing people, died in a tragic way after eating nail -filled sausages.

Bloodhound Bruno, the seven -year -old, was laid in a pool of his own blood in an animal training center in Taranto, Southern Italy, after he was thrown into the deadly catering hut yesterday morning.

Trainer Arcangelo Caessa said that Bruno, who was once honored by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for his services, died in pain without internal bleeding.

Meloni, who was depicted with Bruno in 2022, condemned the participants and called the killing of ‘inferior, cowardly, unacceptable action’.

‘Thank you for everything you do Bruno’ he added.

While prosecutors launch an investigation into the terrible killing of the dog, the police are reviewing the supervision images from the training facility to identify the responsible ones.

Bruno had worked on the cases of missing people in the South Apulia region and helped to find nine disappeared people.

He also participated in operations aimed at dismantling groups organizing secret dog fights.

Trainer Mr. Caessa paid an emotional tribute to Bruno on Facebook: ‘I died with you this morning.

‘You fought all your life to save people, and now he was a person who did it to you.’

He added that most of the missing people are Alzheimer who wandered on their own and lost.
