The motorway is partially closed northbound between junctions 8a (A120 Stansted Airport) and 9 (A11 Newmarket). National Highways said shortly after 7am on December 5: “1 of 2 lanes closed this morning to recover a car that had left the side of the road.” The organization added that at around 7.30am, drivers faced a 90-minute delay due to expected traffic.
