Trump says Israel-Lebanon ceasefire extended by three weeks

Israel and Lebanon agreed to extend the ceasefire for three weeks following a meeting with senior US officials at the White House, President Donald Trump said Thursday.
“The meeting went very well!” Trump said in a speech: Real Social post announced that the temporary ceasefire has been extended.
“The United States will work with Lebanon to help it defend itself from Hezbollah,” Trump wrote, referring to the Iran-backed militia group.
“The ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon will be extended for THREE WEEKS,” he wrote.
In Trump’s post, it was stated that the “High Level Representatives” of the two countries met with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee and US Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa in the Oval Office.
