Thousands protest in Brazil against bill that could grant Bolsonaro amnesty

Tens of thousands of Brazilians, former president Jair Bolsonaro’ya to protest a bill that could lead to amnesty, participated in protests in cities on Sunday.

Bolsonaro was found guilty of planning a coup at the beginning of this month and was sentenced to 27 years in prison. His lawyers will remain under house arrest until they consume all objections.

President Lula also said that if he was going to pass by the Senate, he would veto Amnesty.

The anti -persuasion protests came two weeks after the former president Bolsonaro fans went to the streets to condemn the legal proceedings against him.
